Miguel Angel Lopez of Astana has won the Tour De Suisse.
Lopez led by eight seconds going into the final stage from La Punt to Davos which had to be shortened to 57kms after the Albula Pass was deemed too cold to race on.
Lopez was able to bridge to the front group on the Flüela Pass climb and took the points on offer before putting thirty seconds into BMC's Tejay van Garderen and Pantano.
It was raining on top of the snow covered mountain and the wet weather continued as Lopez was joined by the Izaguirre group with nine kilometres left.
Into the closing stages and Colombian Jarlinson Pantano of IAM Cycling put in a move which allowed him to get away and win in a time of 1.23.55 ahead of Sergei Chernetski of Katusha, Jon Izaguirre of Movistar and Miguel Angel Lopez of Astana who came home to take the overall victory with a twelve second win over Izaguirre.
“It’s a very special day for me because yesterday I told my daughter I wanted to win for her,” said Pantano whose victory helped him finish fifth in the general classification.
