British rider Dan McLay has been named in the Fortuneo Vital Concept team for the Tour De France which starts on Saturday.
McLay, who was born in Wellington, New Zealand but moved to Leicester as an infant, will be hoping to contest the sprints and he said about being included in the team for the Grand Bucle: "I am looking forward to this challenge even if the pressure will be strong at the beginning.
"I remember, when I was much younger, watching the race front of the television and imagined myself riding in it.
"I'll do my best in the sprints and to help the team.
The team, which rode as Bretagne Seche Enviroment, will be based around Argentinian Eduardo Sepulveda and Dane Chris Anker Sorensen but will be ably assisted by the likes of Anthony Delaplace, Florian Vachon, Pierre-Luc Périchon, Vegard Breen, Brice Feillu and Armindo Fonseca.
