There will be no British riders in the Giro D'Italia which starts on Friday.
Team Sky have nine riders in their squad but have not chosen any of them whilst the Yates brothers will not ride for Orica GreenEdge in the race which starts in Apeldoorn in The Netherlands on Friday at 13.45 local time with a 9.8km time trial from The Omnisports centre to Loolaan.
Ireland has two representatives in Nicholas Roche and Philip Deignan both of whom ride for Team Sky.
