Over Five Hundred For Warwicks

Warwickshire County Cricket Club passed the five hundred mark on the third day of their County Championship game with Nottinghamshire at Edgbaston.

After yesterday's play was washed out, Warwicks resumed on 298-5 and they had Chris Wright caught after he had made 53.

Tm Ambrose was in great form going on to make an unbeaten 151 and with Ian Blackwell chipping in with 69 not out, Warwicks declared on 504/6.

In the fifth over of the Nottinghamshire innings, Chris Wright struck to have Wessels caught by Westwood.

Barker had Lumb caught by Chopra, then Taylor came in and hit his own wickets to give Chris Wright a second wicket and when Voges was caught giving Tom Milnes a wicket, Notts were 69-4.

However, Alex Hales (80 not out) and Chris Read (54 not out) came together and when bad light ended play, Notts were on 188-4.
