Will Porterfield scored 118 and Ian Westwood made 99 as Warwicks moved towards Somerset's first innings total on the third day of their County Championship game at Edgbaston.
Warwicks resumed on 78/1 and Westwood and Porterfield moved the score past two hundred. However, with the score on 203, Westwood was caught behind by Craig Kieswetter.
Porterfield batted on and made his century from two hundred balls but was trapped lbw by Craig Overton after making 118 and helping to take the score to 290.
Sam Hain had chipped in with 32 but he was out caught by Compton off the bowling of Trego and an over later, Ateeq Javid who had made two was out caught by Hildreth to give Craig Overton a second wicket.
The rain came and play finished early with Warwicks on 294-5.
