Team Sky have announced their team for the 2016 Tour De France
The team will comprise of twice winner Chris Froome, Sergio Henao, whom Sir David Brailsford said to Sky Sports News HQ was one of the world's best climbers and Vasil Kiryienka, who was picked for his performance in the Tour De Suisse will play the middle role in the team.
Mikel Landa, is one of the most talented riders that Brailsford said he had worked with and Mikel Nieve, who was described as 'professional' and a real asset as a climber, was also included along with Wout Poels, who won Liege-Bastogne-Liege.
British rider Luke Rowe will be the road captain and will call the shots on the road with Ian Stannard, who has a major role in the team, according to Brailsford, supporting along with Geraint Thomas, whose experience will be vital and was desribed as the all round professional that you want in the team.
