Jos Van Emden of LottoNL-Jumbo has won the Ster ZLM Toer prologue in Holland.
The town of Goes in the Zeeland province played host to the opening prologue which was 6.4kms.
Michael Vingerling was the first man down the ramp and he set the time of 7.57 to beat.
That of course was soon beaten with BMC's Jempy Drucker finishing in a time of 7.44.26 before Roger Kluge of IAM Cycling, who won the prologue in 2015, completely smashed that with a time of 7.28.
That time lasted until Stefan Kung of BMC, who was 150th down the ramp, came home a second quicker. However, his BMC team mate Taylor Phinney then finished in 7.26.54 to go into the hot seat.
Phinney's stay in the hot seat was a short one as Jos Van Emden of LottoNL-Jumbo came home in 7.23.04 with a time that Andrei Grieipel who was last down the road could not beat.
