ONE Pro Cycling's Steel Van Hoff has won the opening stage of the Tour of Norway.
The opening stage was a 172km stage from Drammen to Langesund and saw 124 riders start and Tolhoek of Roompot, Antonini (WantyGobert), Blikra (Osterhusridley), Trondsen of SPbanksor and Watterhall go clear and take a lead of six minutes as Blikra took the first climb at Holmestrand.
Trondsen took the first sprint as the gap went out to 6.15 with a hundred kilometres to go and the second sprint with Blikra taking the second climb.
The peloton were catching all the time and they caught Blikra, Antonini and Trondsen and the race finished in a bunch sprint which was won by Steele Von Hoff (One Pro) ahead of Phil Bauhaus (Bora) and Yannick Martinez (DMP).
