Warwickshire County Cricket Club bowled out Somerset and started batting on the second day of their County Championship game with Somerset at Edgbaston.
The visitors resumed on 237-3 and struggled against the Warwickshire attack.
James Hildreth and Nick Compton had resumed their partnership which was 135 when stumps were drawn on day one but with the score on 268 and Hildreth two runs away from completing his century he was caught off the bowling of Keith Barker.
Compton soon followed being caught after making 92 to give Boyd Rankin a wicket and another when he had Peter Trego caught.
Rikki Clarke then trapped Craig Kieswetter, Wright had Thomas out lbw and Patal had Dockrell caught before Boyd Rankin took his third wicket thanks to a catch from Porterfield, removing Jamie Overton who had made a rapid 56 from 39 balls to take Somerset's total to 411.
Warwicks lost Varun Chopra for 27, caught by Petersen to give Craig Overton a wicket and were on 78-1 when the rain came down.
