Warwicks Force Sussex To Follow On

Warwickshire County Cricket Club forced Sussex to follow on, on the second day of their County Championship game at Edgbaston.

The visitors resumed on 103-3 and soon lost nightwatchman Jimmy Anyon who was caught by Laurie Evans to give Chris Woakes a third wicket.

Sussex were reduced to 119-5 when Michael Yardy was caught and bowled by Rikki Clarke.

Jeetan Patel removed Hodd and Raynor before he caught Murray Goodwin who had made 94 to give Woakes his fourth wicket.

The tail was soon mopped up with Woakes catching Navad Ul Hasan and Patel taking his fourth wicket when Monty Panesar was caught and Sussex were all out for 259.

Warwicks enforced the follow on and Patel struck to have Nash caught by Woakes after fifty five had been put on by the opening batsman.

Ian Westwood caught Well who had made seven and when bad light stopped play for the day, Sussex were on 71-2, some 191 runs behind. 

In the 100th Test Match against India, England declared on 474-8 with Kevin Pietersen making an unbeaten 202. Jon Trott made 70 with Ian Bell hitting 45.
