Warwickshire County Cricket Club were in the field on the opening day of their County Championship game against Northamptonshire at Wantage Road.
Northamptonshire won the toss and batted first and made 29 before Chris Woakes had Stephen Peters trapped lbw.
The score moved on to 66 when Warwicks had their second wicket when James Middlebrook, who had made half of the score, was caught behind by Tim Ambrose to give a wicket for Rikki Clarke who followed that up removing Keogh for a duck.
Rob Newton was in good form at the other end as Spreigel went to Wright for sixteen, Duckett caught by Clarke for eight, Andy Hall went for 45 bowled by Woakes for his third wicket and Crook became Wright's second victim.
Newton ended the day unbeaten on 108 as bad light stopped play with Northamptonshire on 297-8.
