Warwickshire County Cricket Club have a lead on the second day on their County Championship game with Lancashire.
At Aigburth in Liverpool and with Warwicks needing victory to keep their County Championship title hopes alive, they batted after bowling Lancs out for 189 with Neil Carter taking 6-30 from 8.5 overs.
Chris Woakes who had taken three wickets, top scored for Warwicks with 60 and Jim Troughton added 49 as Warwicks were all out for 280.
Lancs closed on 32-0.
