Warwicks Struggle At Yorkshire

Warwickshire County Cricket Club struggled on the second day of their County Championship game with Yorkshire at Headingley.

Yorks resumed on 310-8 but allowed Liam Plunkett to make 86 and Patterson 43 before Chris Woakes took his fourth wicket and Jeetan Patal a wicket to see the home side all out for 444.

Warwicks started badly, losing Varun Chopra who had made all three od Warwickshire's runs being bowled by Brooks.

Laurie Evans came in but only added fourteen before being caught by Ballance and with the score on 37, Will Porterfield was out for eleven.

Ian Bell steadied things with an unbeaten 58 but Javid went for six, Ambrose 21 and Woakes for 15 as Warwicks closed on 136-6 after 54 overs.
