Warwickshire County Cricket Club had a good day on the opening day of their County Championship game with Sussex at Arundel.
There were plenty of spectators on hand to see Sussex bat first and put on fifty before Rikki Clarke bowled Nash.
Another forty five runs were added before Warwicks got their second wicket with Varun Chopra catching Wells.
Ed Joyce had been in good form for Sussex hitting eleven fours in an innings of 73 before he too was caught this time by Ian Westwood.
Murray Goodwin kept the score ticking over, hitting an unbeaten 71 whilst at the other end, his batting partners lost their wicket on a frequent basis thanks some good bowling from Boyd Rankine and Rikki Clarke who took three wickets each to see Sussex all out for 251.
At stumps, Warwicks were 58-0 at the close.
