Yorkshire have a lead of 141 with three wickets remaining going into the final day of the County Championship match against Warwickshire County Cricket Club at Headingly.
Warwicks continued on 221-8 with Barker and Jeetan Patal taking their ninth wicket partnership to ninety nine before Barker who had made 49 was run out.
Patal battled on but on 63 from 84 balls, he was caught behind by Hodd to give Sidebottom his second wicket and see Warwicks all out for 309, some seven runs ahead after 110 overs.
Patal caught Lees off the bowling of Woakes for two and Lyth, who had made fifteen soon followed, bowled by Woakes.
Andy Gale and Gary Ballance added 76 before the partnership was halted when Will Porterfield caught Gale to give Boyd Rankin a wicket.
Rankin removed Rashid for a duck and Patal had Rafiq caught by Westwood. Enter Chris Woakes who took his third wicket when he bowled Ballance, who had made 45 and his fourth when he had Liam Plunkett caught behind by Tim Ambrose.
Yorks were forced to close on 148-7 when bad light saw the teams go off and not return.
