Warwickshire County Cricket Club could not stop Yorkshire hitting the runs on day two of their County Championship game at Edgbaston.
Yorks resumed on 11-0 and by lunch were 80-2 after Lyth was caught by Tom Milnes after making 43 and Tim Ambrose catching Sayers to give Boyd Rankin a second wicket.
Ambrose caught Jaques who had made 25 to give Jeetan Patal a wicket. Two more wickets for Patal followed with the wickets of Andy Gale who had hit 40 and Gary Ballance who had made 52.
At the other end, Adil Rashid hit an unbeaten 68 but lost Hodd for nine and Tim Bresnan who gave Rankin his third wicket as Yorks closed on 318-7.
