Not just content to win two Peoples Choice awards, The Coventry Music Museum, today announced that it has received a second TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award. Now in its sixth year, the award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve great reviews on TripAdvisor. Certificate of Excellence winners include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a superior customer experience. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
“Winning the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is a true source of pride for the entire team at The Coventry Music Museum and we’d like to thank all of our past guests who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor", said Director Julie Chambers. Director Curator Pete Chambers added, "There is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by your visitors. We can't thank them enough, and it only makes us strive to get even better. When we opened the museum it was basically a box full of exhibits. Over the last eighteen months, schools and clubs have visited, Alzheimer sufferers have remembered musical faces in the museum, families have been bought by their Dads, Mums, Brothers for Birthday treats, and even cancer suffers have made the trip, and the public has really responded. We now know we are far more than just a box of delights, and our legacy has begun and must be maintained. Our extension opened in July, and that has seen us hit the second phase of our business plan. Then there are even more exciting times ahead". Pete Chambers was recently awarded a BEM for his work in the museum, and he and Julie got to attend a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on 24th May this year.
"TripAdvisor is pleased to honor exceptional hospitality businesses that have received consistent praise and recognition by travelers on the site,” said Marc Charron President, TripAdvisor for Business. “By putting a spotlight on businesses that are focused on delivering great service to customers, TripAdvisor not only helps drive increasing hospitality standards around the world, it also gives businesses both large and small the ability to shine and stand out from the competition.”
