Coventry City Ladies travel to Lincoln City tonight knowing that they must win to keep their slim hopes of avoiding relegation alive.
With Sheffield Wednesday and Tranmere Rovers both winning on Sunday, Mark Phillips side know they must win all of their last three matches and hope that Sheffield Wednesday who are six points ahead and third from bottom don’t pick up any points in their final game. City are also hampered by the fact that the Staveley based club also have a far superior goal difference.
The Sky Blues boss told Covsupport: “The fat lady might be around but she ain’t singing. “We still have a good chance of staying up and we firmly intend to take that chance.”
