Coventry City Reserves travel to Derby County tonight in a re-arranged game. The game at Pride Park was due to have been played in February. However, the arranging of an England U21 international at Derby meant that the fixtures were reversed.
Alan Cork, has announced a team which will see Craig Reid, Andy Hall and Liam Nicell who, in my opinion as someone who has seen more reserve team games this season and than the current manager and most of the coaching staff all deserve to be offered a contract, all starting.
Eddy Johnson will start. With Sean Cooney having joined Woking on loan until the end of the season, Stuart Wall will deputise.
Derby boss Steve Taylor names a youthful Rams side but includes German International Marco Reich, Pablo Mills, Jamie Vincent and Lee Holmes.
Kick off at Pride Park is at 7pm. Derby have not announced the price of admission on the turnstiles, simply saying that “season ticket holders and those aged U16 get in free”.
M1 to junction 25, then follow A52 towards City centre. Ground is signposted.
By Train
Derby Midland station is one mile away and the quickest route is via a tunnel under the railway opposite the highly recommended Brunswick Pub in Station Approach.
