Norwich City are the visitors to Highfield Road for City last pre-season game. The match on Saturday July 31st is part of the deal which took Youseff Safri to Carrow Road.
Safri will be the only former Sky Blue in the Premiership new boys line-up as Darren Huckerby is struggling with a groin strain that ruled him out of Norwich's games in Malaysia and their 3-1 win at Cambridge United on Tuesday.
Norwich boss Nigel Worthington said “Huckerby's getting there, but I'm not going to risk him. Hopefully when he's back, he'll stay back.”
The non-inclusion of Huckerby is probably a good thing after the former Millwall and Newcastle striker launched into a tirade of abuse towards Coventry supporters after the Canaries 2-0 win at Highfield Road last season.
Peter Reid is expected to again start with what will be his first eleven for the Coca-Cola Championship game against Sunderland on Saturday week and has not reported any injuries after the 2-2 midweek draw at Notts County.
Kick off for the match is at 3pm and tickets are £10 adults and £5 for concessions.
