Boosted by the draw at Norwich City on Saturday, the Sky Blues set off for South London to face Millwall for their second out of three consecutive away league matches.
Micky Adams has no injury worries and is expected to keep the same side which started at Carrow Road.
Millwall who lost their opening game of the season 2-1 at Leeds United on Sunday are expected to have midfielder Doug Livermore back in contention after the midfielder who is reported to be interesting former Millwall boss Mick McCarthy sat out the Elland Road defeat with a thigh injury.
Lions boss Colin Lee is expected to give home debuts to Don Hutchison and Jamie Vincent.
The last time City played at The New Den, substitute Claus Jorgensen scored to snatch a draw for the Sky Blues. In all matches, City’s record versus Millwall is
P 49 W 19 D 9 L 21 F 83 A 80.
Visits to the New Den have proved unlucky for the Sky Blues and City have not so far won a league game here.
Tickets are available at £17 and it is highly likely that you will be able to pay on the gate.
Whilst, it may be unlucky, the ground is one of the safest in the country and even safer for those travelling by train as there is a walkway right to the away end from South Bermondsey train station.
If you are driving from the Midlands, we recommend going round the M25 and up the A2 in order to avoid the congestion charges in Central London. At New Cross follow signs for Surrey Quays into Kender Street, turn left into Old Kent Road then right at the turning signposted "car pound" into Ilderton Road. Zampa Road is the 7th turning on the right.
South Bermondsey train station is five minutes walk away and is served by trains from London Bridge.
