WHO ARE THEY?
Formed in 1886 at a Coffee House in Plymouth as the Argyle Athletics Club. The name Argyle was fashionable at the time due to Queen Victoria's love of Scotland. They became Plymouth Argyle in 1903 and played their first Football League game in 1920. They have never played in the top flight but were FA Cup semi-finalists in 1984 and League Cup Semi-Finalists in 1965 and 1974. Their nickname is the Pilgrims and their manager is Ian Holloway who took over back in June after Tony Pulis moved back to Stoke.

LAST MATCH
Coventry lost 0-2 at home to Bristol City whilst Plymouth beat Peterborough 2-1 at home also in an FA Cup Replay.
This is the 41st league and cup game between the two sides. City have won on sixteen occasions with eight draws.
The last game was on September 30th 2006 at the Arena and saw an 82nd minute goal from Semba give the Pilgrims a 1-0 victory. Last season,City lost 3-1 at Home Park with Dennis Wise scoring a late goal.

Colin Cameron is still out with an Achilles problem. Eliiott Ward is also out with a hamstring injury whilst David McNamee is suffering from a virus. No fresh injury problems have been reported. Michael Mifsud and Aaron Lee-Barrett are available.
Plymouth boss Ian Holloway will have loanees Scott Sinclair, Rory Fallon, Peter Halmosi and Kevin Gallen all available and hopes that defender Krzystian Timar recovers from a throat infection.

At the roundabout as you come off the A38 take the second exit A386, signposted Plymouth Argyle, Home Park, Ferry Port. Stay on this road for approximately a mile; the stadium is on your left, with a large free car park on the A386.
