Coventry City manager Mark Robins said it was a decent performance as the Sky Blues won 2-1 at Crawley Town with a brace from Jordan Ponticelli.
“First and foremost it was a decent performance,” said Robins to the media after the win.
“Crawley try to play so it was different again from the teams we have played recently; a different challenge which meant we played a slightly different way ourselves to put them under pressure.
“And I thought we could have scored more goals if we’d have been a bit more clinical but the two goals from Jordan were outstanding, very good finishes.
“The first one came from the first attack and that’s what we wanted to do. Those were the areas we wanted to try to expose and the cut back for Jordan, who you know is going to be in there wanting to score.
“That’s all it is about, scoring goals, wanting to score a goal by sprinting from A to B and putting yourself in a position to receive the ball. And he’s done that and put it in the back of the net.
“The second one was an outstanding goal when we could have been two or three to the good at a time when we were well on top.
