Neil MacFarlane described Coventry City's 1-0 loss at Barnsley as a frustrating loss.
MacFarlane told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "Against the wind we did ok and made a number of chances.
"In the second half, we lost a poor goal and did not get going.
"We had a clear penalty and it should have been given. I've watched it again and it was a penalty kick.
"Overall, we deserved a draw but I'm frustrated that we conceded a sloppy goal.
"It is a frustrating loss but I have told Tony this group of players will give them everything.
"I'm happy to carry on. I have spoken to Tony at length and we will be working together."
