Swansea City U21 boss Gary Llewellyn felt his side's 0-0 draw against Coventry City produced a good performance from his players.
"It was a good performance," said Llewellyn to the Swansea City club website.
"The boys did everything we asked them to do, but we just lacked a cutting edge in the final third.
"We were disappointed with the result, but not the performance. There were many positives from last season because we would have lost a game like that.
"They (Coventry) had one free kick after two minutes, but other than that they didn't really open us up.
"We created at least ten or twelve really good chances but couldn't put them away."
