Coventry City youngster has described his time with Wales U19's in the UEFA Qualifying Tournament In Portugal as a great experience.
Thomas played in the defeat to hosts Portugal, sat out the 4-1 loss to Denmark but scored in a 2-1 win over Albania in a game which saw fellow Sky Blue Cian Harries sent off for a second bookable.
Speaking to Keiran Crowley, Thomas, who took the positives from the experience, said: "We're all disappointed not to qualify of course.
"I was happy to get the minutes I did during that game and the Albania game. I was happy with the goal as it was a nice reverse pass and I finished through the keepers legs.
"They were a really good side and they didn't take any prisoners with three red cards in the game. It was a tough match and it was great to get the win."
