The winger had a hand in all three goals on Tuesday night against Sheffield United and told City's club website yesterday at the Ricoh Arena: "Two things for us that played a big part on Tuesday were work rate and quality and when you look at sides like Sheffield United, Preston and Bristol City they are normally the key factors that enable them to do well.
"When we turn up with the kind of work ethic and quality that we did on Tuesday we can match anybody in this division and midweek showed we got our just rewards for doing that
"The good thing is there is a hell of a lot more to come from this team, I know there is.
