Coventry City Manager Mark Robins felt that the Sky Blues 3-2 victory at MK Dons was a magnificent performance.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph, Robins said: “That was a magnificent performance that shows just how far we have come.
“We weren’t quite on it in the first half but we made a few adjustments and ended up beating a very good side and deserving to do so.
“They were piling forward in the closing stages so we had to stay strong and calm and that’s exactly what we did.
“We had to make a couple of changes so it was a an opportunity for some players who have been on the sidelines for a few weeks to show that they are ready to step in.
“What can you say about Stevie Elliott? And he fully deserved it because he has been working so hard in training.”
