According to the Press Association, over a thousand fans have signed a petition against London Wasps moving to Coventry.
Wasps are in a similar situation to that faced by Wimbledon FC twenty odd years ago and are stuck with the prospect of having to move out of their localilty of London in order to get the stadium they want.
That will be mean journeys of 180+ miles for Wasps' London based supporters and over a thousand have signed a petition against the move to the Ricoh Arena which Coventry City Council members will be discussing and then voting upon over the next two days
