Coventry City manager Steven Pressley felt that the 0-0 draw against Chesterfield merited a winning performance from his side.
Pressley who watched the game from the stand, leaving Neil MacFarlane and Darren Murray, told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "It was a winning performance, there's no doubt about that. We were excellent, in control.
"The encouraging thing for me is we're getting much more control of games, and that was again very evident.
"We dominated for long periods and the only thing that was missing was the goals. It wasn't for the want of trying or chances created. The ball just wouldn't go in the net."
