Academy Striker Gets International Call
The father of Jamie who lives in Wellsbourne said:"They did skills work on Saturday and then divided into teams for a knock-out stage at Queens Park Rangers' Loftus Road ground on the Sunday.
"Jamie's side played well, but went out at the semi-finals - and we thought that was the end, because all bar two of the squad came from the winning team.
"To say I was stunned when they called his name out was probably an understatement - we'd packed our bags and passports back on the bus and then suddenly he was being interviewed on television as a wild card player of the weekend.
"I'm very proud, but Jamie has good games and bad games just like anyone else and most of all I want him to go out there and enjoy the experience."
