A court in Birmingham was told that directors of Arena Coventry Limited had considered making a bid for Coventry City FC.
The claim was heard on the second day of the court case between the Alan Higgs Charity and SISU which Clerk to the Higgs charity Peter Knatchbull-Hugessen giving evidence.
Also giving evidence was Paul Harris, trustee of the Higgs and ACL director, who according to the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert, confirmed that 'he personally negotiated a deal for £5.5m for the charity's stake in ACL with Sisu boss Joy Seppala."
