Former Coventry City player and manager Micky Adams has admitted that his job is at risk after Port Vale lost their fourth league game at local rivals Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.
Adams told BBC Radio Stoke: "I'm not daft enough to think if we go on a run of losing games that my job's safe - how can it be?
"Things can't go on - I need a lift, the boys need a lift and a break.
"This hurts. "No one is hurting more than me at the moment at the run we're on, but I'm not going to hide away, that's for sure."
