Coventry City have been lined up with a bid for Stoke City's Carl Asaba. The striker is reportedly to be unhappy at the Brittania Stadium and has been looking for a move for a while.
According to a Stoke City forum, Asaba had agreed terms with City a fortnight ago.
However, the Stoke City Board have since demanded £100,000 for the 32 year old former Gillingham and Sheffield United forward who has played 43 times fro Stoke scoring ten goals and being sent off once.
If this is waived or the clubs come to a deal then Asaba could be a City player in time for the weekend.
