With Richard Shaw and Stuart Giddings picking up injuries in the defeat by Wigan and Marcus Hall unavailable to play against his former club thanks to a gentleman's agreement, Micky Adams feels that City had problems finding a defence for the visit of Stoke on Saturday.
Adams told the CET: "We have got an injury crisis at the moment.
"Richard Shaw has done his knee ligaments and we will assess that more later in the week, and Stuart Giddings damaged a hamstring and we had other players out there who were playing slightly below par in terms of their fitness."
