Former defender Micky Adams has been installed as favourite for the vacant manager's job at Highfield Road. Adams has been a regular attendee at Coventry over the last few seasons and watched 75 minutes of hte defeat against Leeds on Monday.
Adams left Coventry in 1987 to join Leeds and played against the Sky Blues in the FA Cup Semi-Final that season. After a good spell as manager at Fulham,where he was deposed by Kevin Keegan, Adams ended up at Leicester where he spent three years before leaving what he described as a "hell-hole".
Joe Kinnear who was also rumoured to have been in the Main Stand on Monday,may be an outside bet for the job.
Adrian Heath may be within with a shout if he wants the job although as he was brought to the club by Reid, any appointment may not be a popular move.
Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore may also be an outside bet as is former Scotland and Preston boss Craig Brown.

Radio reports says that former City manager Bobby Gould who had two spells with the club has contacted the club,stating his interest.
