Bryan Adams will be the first act to take to the stage at the 7,000 capacity Exhibition Hall at the Arena.

Adams Gets The Gig
Arena CEO Paul Fletcher said to the CET: "Bryan Adams is one of the best known artists in the world and it is excellent news that he has agreed to hold the first concert at the Arena. "It is a wonderful way to get things under way and I am sure that it will be a great night.
"Bryan Adams normally plays to audiences of 30-40,000 and as around 7,000 will be at our event, it will almost be like a private audience.
"I think that the calibre of an artist like Bryan shows the intention that we have to bring the biggest and best acts to the city and will serve as a taster to the exciting names we hope to bring to the Arena next year."
