Micky Adams at the press conference to announce his arrival as the latest manager of Coventry City said: "My batteries are recharged and I'm ready for the challenge - and it is a challenge.
"We've got a task to get the club further up the table and I'm convinced we can do that because we've got a decent squad, there is talent...and I'm prepared to get out there on the training ground and try to improve things. "I think that's one of my strengths.
"Throughout my career I've been, if not a fire-fighter, then at football clubs without much money.
"I've got to get out and work with the players and make them better.
"It's important that everyone (in the squad) is given a chance but there's only three or four months to go, so I've go to make my mind up very quickly.
"There's enough ability in this squad to get us up the table."
