Sky Blues manager Micky Adams has defended his decision to retain Trever Benjamin. The former Northampton Town striker who had his contract at Sixfields taken over by the Sky Blues signed a one year deal and will report for pre-season training at Stratford on Friday.
Adams told the CET: "Trevor gives me options both up front and wide left and always tries to do the job I set him. "A few years ago, he was more than a £1 million player,so he is no mug. But what he needs is to get back to where he was and hopefully he can do that with Coventry."
