Adams on Crewe Drubbing

Speaking after the disgraceful 4-1 defeat at Crewe, Coventry City manager Micky Adams said: "We can only apologise to the fans for our away results and I think I know why it is happening.

"The players understand my thoughts but I am not going to air them in public.

"I am not going to have a go at the players because they have been excellent for this club. They've got the club out of the doldrums."
