Micky Adams was a far happier man after the victory at 2-1 Reading. The City boss told reporters: "We have worked hard all week and played for the full 90 minutes for a change.
"I was pleased with the two new loan signings. I thought Ian Bennett was calm and safe although in truth he didn't have that much to do.
"I know a lot of the supporters get on at Stern, but I can only talk about what I see in training. "He's real class and can win them over if his goals keep us up."
"With Trevor Benjamin you know that what you see is what you get. Now we have two tough home games and that will be a test of our character.
City face high flying Wigan Athletic on Wednesday at Highfield Road (7.45pm) before they take on Tony Pullis' Stoke City on Saturday February 26th at 3pm.
Tickets for both matches are on general sale as are tickets for the final home league game at Highfield Road against Derby County on April 30th.
