Like many City supporters, Micky Adams was pleased with the performance from his players during the 2-1 home defeat by Wigan Athletic.
The City manager said: "Losing two players to injury early on did not help us,but full credit to my players.
"The goal was one worthy of winning any game. We matched them and Filan saved them a couple of times. We had enough chances to get something.
"It's never nice losing games of football but there's ways to do it and I thought we did that tonight.
"I'm not singling out people but I'm very pleased with the team performance.
"We were unlucky not to come in at half-time ahead. The thing that pleased me today is that we kept going and the spirit pleased me too."
