Speaking to the club website, the City boss said: "Because we've brought in Don Hutchison who is 34 and Wisey who is 39, I don't what the fans to think that is all we are about here. For the short term it is to help us push further up the league this season.
"Then we'll analyse it in the summer and decide where we are going to go to achieve the goal that everybody has set in the next three years. To do that we need more quality in the football club and Dennis will give us that time just to have a look at it all.
"I would doubt anybody else is coming in but situations arise in football clubs. I didn't know that Stephen Hughes was going to be out for five weeks. As far as I was concerned he was going to miss another week's training and that would be it. That's not happened."
