Former Coventry City striker Dele Adebola has warned his Nottingham Forest team mates that his old club will not be pushovers, despite being in the lower half of the league table.
Forest recently suffered a slight downturn in form before returning to winning ways on Saturday with a 2-1 home win over Sheffield Wednesday. Adebola is aware of the Sky Blues good home record, losing only three times at The Ricoh this season.
Adebola said, "They (Coventry City) are not in the position they would like to be, so it is important to them. They always seem to have a good home record and it is never an easy game. It is a derby of sorts and will be a tough game."
Front man Dele Adebola spent nearly five years in a Sky Blue shirt, before moving to Bristol City in January 2008 before moving to Forest in 2009, where he has netted 3 goals in 25 games.
"I spent a good few years at Coventry, it will be good to see a few familiar faces," he said. I still know a few of the players there. It is only two years since I left. I am surprised to see them where they are. You can never quite put your finger on what has gone wrong there, because they started the season really well."
"They are a good side with good players and I am sure something will click for them eventually. Hopefully, that will not be tonight."
Dele Adebola played 163 times for Coventry City and scored 31 goals between 2003 and 2008.
