Sheffield United manager Nigel Adkins said that his side did not get the bit of fortune they needed after losing 3-1 to Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena.
Adkins told the Press Association: "We started poorly but re-grouped well. We had good possession and produced some bits of creative play.
"We kept knocking on the door but their keeper made some good saves and in the end we were done by a sucker punch.
"We showed character to get back into the game and I think we got it right tactically but we did not get that bit of fortune you need.
"After our last game we will reflect on the season and make sure we get it right next year."
