A statement from the Coventry City Football Club Ltd administrator Paul Appleton is expected shortly after the creditors meeting ended around 2pm today.
The meeting lasted three hours and all the parties involved have agreed to a media black out and letting the administrator issue the statement, which all parties and their legal teams will agree on.
The Coventry Telegraph's Les Reid has tweeted: "I understand #CCFC ACL creditors meeting adjourned for another week - after 3 hours.
"Another week's adjournment means #CCFC starting season with uncertainty over admin or liquidation.
"Another week's delay means earliest #CCFC can come out of admin still 5 weeks away - after transfer window closes."
