There are plenty of rumours doing the rounds that Chuba Akpom has been sent back to Arsenal.
Akpom played for Coventry City, last Sunday against Port Vale but then flew to Barcelona for a UEFA Youth Cup Quarter-Final tie in which he scored for Arsenal.
This caused Steven Pressley to say: "It’s not an ideal situation and I actually think it’s having a little bit of an effect on the player because we’re trying to teach him to play for us in a certain style and then he’s returning to his club and for periods they are asking him to play in a different style, and I don’t think it’s helping the kid in any way,” to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.
Neither City or Arsenal are yet to make a statement but Akpom, who was a substitute in yesterday's 3-1 defeat at Brentford has tweeted: "back home :) , gonna miss @cyruschristie , soon see him in the prem ! #baller"
