Coventry City Chairman Ray Ranson has admitted that things are quiet at the moment on the transfer front.
With many people in the football world on holiday including City boss Chris Coleman, this is a quiet time.
However, this does not mean that things are not going on. Said Ranson to the CT: "It's all quiet at the moment and like a lot of clubs, not a lot of actual business is being done, although there is plenty going on.
"Chris Coleman is on hoiday in Dubai this week but I am in touch with him and spoke to him three times yesterday morning.
"We are considering two or three options for every position the manager wants to strengthen and we certainly don't want to pin all our hopes on one player.
"I can't make too many promises but I will say that we are doing everything within our powers to ensure that next season will be better than the one we have just had."
City have not received any enquiries regarding their players.
