Former Coventry City defender Sam Allardyce has signed a deal with Everton.
The former England manager, who played for a season with the Sky Blues at Highfield Road, has signed an 18 month deal to become the new manager of Everton.
The 63 year old Dudley born manager, who has been at the likes of Crystal Palace, Sunderland, Newcastle United and Bolton Wanderers, replaces Ronald Koeman, who was sacked in October and takes over from David Unsworth who had eight games as caretaker with two victories including last night's 4-0 win against West Ham United, a game which Allardyce watched.
