Chris Coleman was pleased with Coventry City's 1-0 victory against Queens Park Rangers this afternoon.
Speaking after the game, the Welshman said to the BBC: "The second half felt like ninety minutes and we did exactly the opposite of what we had said at half-time."We tried to defend s one goal lead, which was partly down to fatique and partly due to nerves.
"But for me, it was just a case of getting the job done and we did that. "It does not mean any more or less because it was against an old friend Iain Dowie. I am just happy to have the three points."
QPR Boss Iain Dowie said: "It's not the return I was hoping for. The result will tell you something but the performance will tell you something else.
"I've watched Coventry a few times and I've not seen them outplayed like they were in the second half. "I'm very proud of the second half display and but for a few bits of heroic defending by their back four, it could have been our day.
City supporter and QPR Assistant Tim Flowers said after the game: "It's just football coming here with another club. I thought we played very well in the second half and could have won."
